‘We’re Here to Help’ – TCN Expanding to Montgomery County
"We're Here to Help" - TCN Expanding to Montgomery County
After serving Greene and Surrounding counties for more than a quarter-century, TCN Behavioral Health is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Montgomery County.
The expansion will give Xenia-headquartered TCN 12 locations in the Greater Dayton area.
Opening Sept. 11, 2017, at 3085 Woodman Dr., Suite 300 in Kettering, the new office will allow TCN to serve more clients as it continues its tradition of Improving Lives by Providing Clinically Excellent and Accessible Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
No client will be turned away – regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
“We’re here to help,” TCN CEO Lori Strobl said. “It’s what we do.”
Adults in Montgomery County can contact TCN’s central call center at (937) 376-8700 for information about all of TCN's local programs. These include: outpatient and residential substance use services; medication-assisted treatment services; psychiatric and outpatient mental-health services; and treatment services for clients with dual mental-health and substance-use issues.
With holistic programs that support clients throughout the recovery journey, TCN’s continuum of care includes residential treatment; intensive outpatient services; and recovery housing.
TCN also operates a 24-hour crisis hotline at (937) 376-8701.
“When you need help, TCN has the help you need, when you need it,” Strobl said.
Unfortunately, Montgomery County, like the rest of Ohio and the United States, is in the throes of an opioid epidemic. Through May of this year, nearly 400 county residents succumbed to overdoses, NBC News reports. That puts Montgomery on pace to experience more than 800 drug-related deaths in 2017; in 2016, 371 county residents died in such circumstances.
“The professional staff at TCN stand ready to help Montgomery County residents get the resources they need to fight their addiction and mental-health issues” Strobl said.
Founded in 1990 as The Community Network, the non-profit TCN provides services to more than 7,500 clients annually with a staff of 16 psychiatrists and more than 180 team members working in 12 – soon to be 13 – locations. While the opioid epidemic continues to get the lion’s share of attention from mainstream media, TCN’s professionals know our clients are also struggling with mental-health issues and addictions to other drugs, including alcohol.
