Soteria House

TCN is committed to helping women and children in Domestic Violence situations obtain safety and link with resources to help build secure and self-sufficient lives in the community.

Soteria House is TCN’s 24-hour domestic violence/sexual assault shelter. It provides safe, secure temporary housing for victims/survivors and their children. The shelter is open to all victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and staffed 24 hours a day.

This confidential, emergency location offers food, clothing, and personal items to help meet a survivor’s immediate needs. Additional services for shelter clients include direct crisis interventions through case management, legal advocacy support, counseling, and our 24-hour crisis line. Case Management helps link clients to resources with other agencies for medical, housing, education, and employment opportunities.

We also understand that a beloved family pet can sometimes make leaving a home situation complicated. At Soteria House, we have a partnership with a local shelter to help house pets while a survivor and their family are staying with us.
